Edinburgh Food Studio isn’t your normal Edinburgh restaurant by any stretch. As they create every menu to spec and they serve everyone the same thing, you must call ahead if you want them to cater for you. Of course, they were happy to cater to my vegan needs as I gave them a good few days notice. You’ll find snaps of what I ate at Edinburgh Food Studio below, but as every menu is a little different, don’t expect to get exactly what I did!

The food at Edinburgh Food Studio really pushes the boundaries – don’t expect your standard restaurant food here. They try to create their menu from local produce that is in-season, which is a big plus in my book. My favourite course of the evening was probably the pumpkin seed skirlie, which was filling, tasty and comforting.

Definitely worth a visit, but be sure to call ahead so they can prepare for you.
